CiF & Congressman Jim Renacci tour real estate projects in Cleveland

Mr. Jim Krivanek discusses
leasing and tenant progress at the site
of a new project with Congressman Renacci
Last week, members of CiF’s executive staff and representatives from both the Cleveland Development Advisors and the Greater Cleveland Partnership met with Congressman Jim Renacci to tour Cleveland area real estate projects that received funding from the EB-5 program and/or the New Market Tax Credit program.

Congressman Renacci met with project developers and was able to get a behind-the-scenes look at some of Cleveland’s ongoing real estate projects.

Both the EB-5 and the New Market Tax Credit programs allow local projects to secure the funding necessary to bring developments online and create new jobs for the region. CiF is excited to be a part of the region’s continuing economic growth.

CiF attends GCP Annual Meeting

The Greater Cleveland Partnership held its Annual Meeting this past week in the ballroom of Cleveland’s new Downtown Convention Center. With a packed house and dramatic accompanying videos, several speakers - including GCP CEO Mr. Joe Roman, KeyCorp CEO Ms. Beth Mooney, and the Governor of Ohio Mr. John Kasich – highlighted regional economic successes that GCP has been a part of over the past 10 years.

Created in 2004, the Greater Cleveland Partnership has been Cleveland’s Chamber of Commerce with a mission to invigorate Northeast Ohio’s regional economy. Now, ten years later, there is more than $18 billion in public and private sector capital investment that was either recently completed or currently underway.
